Since receiving our first 'E' Award in 2014 and our initial 'E' Star Award in 2018, we have continued to innovate and excel in the steam heating systems industry. A Momentous Occasion in Washington, D.C.
On May 14, 2024, Hydro-Thermal Corporation received its second President’s “E” Star Award for Exports at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo presented the award, marking the highest honor for U.S. companies contributing significantly to expanding U.S. exports.
In her congratulatory letter, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo stated, “Hydro-Thermal has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The “E” Awards Committee recognizes Hydro-Thermal’s continued export growth since receiving the President’s “E” Award for Exports in 2014 and “E Star” Award for Exports in 2018. The company’s innovative multi-faceted marketing strategies and effective partner networks were also notable.”

This year marks the 90th anniversary of Hydro-Thermal, a renowned global leader in manufacturing and designing industrial and sanitary steam heating solutions. This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the prestigious “E” Awards ceremony, a symbol of export and export service excellence. 64 U.S. companies and organizations from 32 states will be honored with the President’s “E” and “E Star” Awards. These American companies are not just nominated but rigorously selected for their remarkable achievements through the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service office network, a vital component of the Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, highlighting their significant contributions to advancing international trade and commerce.
The legacy of the “E” Awards dates to 1961, when President Kennedy reinstated it to recognize outstanding exporters. The criteria for the award, including sustained export growth over four years in one or more international markets, underscore the commitment to excellence in global trade.
