Our team rarely gathers in one location, but last month was an exception. Our team members locally, domestically, and internationally from France, Brazil, Thailand, and Ethiopia, assembled in the frigid temperatures of Waukesha, Wisconsin. The purpose was to undergo hands-on training, conduct our Q4 company meeting, and celebrate the holiday season at our Employee Holiday Party.
Hands-On Training
Hydro-Thermal is committed to ongoing improvement, whether it's enhancing our manufacturing processes or, in this instance, providing hands-on instruction to our sales team regarding our products and applications. Through in-class training and practical lab tests, we focused on equipping our sales team with the knowledge to serve our customers better.
2023 Award Winners
Hydro-Thermal recently honored its high-performing team members during a company meeting, where awards were presented to recognize outstanding contributions and celebrate a record-setting year for the company.
The All-In program, known as The Brand Compass, is Hydro-Thermal's employee-to-employee recognition initiative. Throughout the year, employees receive acknowledgment and rewards for embodying the company's core values: "Do unto Others," "Collaborative Ingenuity," "Roll Up Your Sleeves," "Never Stop Growing," and "It's In The Details." A poker chip symbolizes recognition and includes potential rewards at quarterly meetings.
The annual Brand Compass Award acknowledges the employee who best exemplifies the company's core values and the "Hydro Way." For 2023, Jenny Beaumont, an Inside Sales team member, received this prestigious recognition. Natalie Schim, HR Manager, praised Jenny for consistently extending a helping hand, acquiring new skills, and overcoming challenges while taking over industrial and international inside sales responsibilities and continuing her food team inside sales responsibilities. Jenny's actions truly embody the essence of the Hydro Way.
The 100+ Award is presented to sales team members who exceed yearly personal and team goals. The 2023 recipients are Joel Gerstner, Tommy Schubert, Mike Harris, Larry Mueller, and Maggie Bergmann for our Wizard product line.
The President's Award, presented by President & CEO Jim Zaiser, honors team members who exceed personal and team goals. In 2023, two awards were given to Noelle Jameyson, Supply Chain Manager, and Joel Gerstner, Regional Sales Manager, recognizing their exceptional dedication and hard work.
