Hydro-Thermal is expanding its metal offerings for its Direct Steam Injection (DSI) heaters with the launch of HydroSteel™

Hydro-Thermal engineers have always been on the cutting edge in enhancing our direct steam injection heaters – pursuing innovations that meet our customers’ needs. Our latest materials innovation is HydroSteel™ — a proprietary martensitic stainless steel designed for its strength, robustness, and durability. It is ideal for applications requiring high hardness or corrosion resistance at temperatures of up to 600 °F (316 °C). HydroSteel™ properties and flexibility means it can safely and effectively be used in a variety of industries, including ethanol and starch, food and beverage, pulp and paper, chemical, and more. In addition, HydroSteel's resilience extends the life of heater components, lengthening the time needed for replacement parts.
