Hydro-Thermal hosted a chili cook-off for its employees on February 9th, and the competition was heated! The event saw 11 chili entries ranging from a classic black bear chili to a beer-infused chili. All employees could sample the chilis and vote for their top three favorites.
The competition was close, with each chili having its unique twist, but three entries rose to the top in the end. Lisa Boersma's "BrewHouse Tailgater" took third place with 18 votes, Chris Friedl's "Arizona Dreaming" took second place with 20 votes, but the clear winner was Tristian Pipp's "Slow Burn" chili, which received 24 votes and took home the top prize.
Someone who attended the event, said the chili cook-off brought everyone together. “It was great to see each employee's personality reflected in their chili. The event was a fun and delicious way for employees to connect and bond over their love for chili.”
Hydro-Thermal's chili cook-off was a huge success! Employees came to enjoy each other's cooking and taste some amazing chili. The winners should be proud of their creations, and everyone should be proud of the fun the event brought.
