Scooping up brilliant interns, consulting current staff for referrals, and having recruiters constantly scouring various channels are only a handful of the ways that the organization builds its dream team. Once we identify a suitable candidate Hydro-Thermal also employs critical selection criteria to ensure that the prospective employee will be a valuable addition and a good fit for our culture.
A vital component of our staff is our engineers. Their expertise is one of the many reasons customers purchase our products and stay with us. Our staff includes 20 degree-holding mechanical, fluid, electrical controls and steam system design specialists. We also have several PEs (professional engineers) on staff. This credential requires satisfactory completion of additional exams, an advanced level of experience, and multiple endorsements from other PEs. Maintaining this designation also requires continuing education. Hydro-Thermal is the only manufacturer of direct steam injection heating valves to have engineers invited to sit on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Committees for Energy Efficiency and Process Heating.
