Do you ever run out of hot water?
In a meat processing plant, the 3rd shift cleanup crew constantly ran out of hot water during wash-downs. In a can topping factory, the water was not always at the exact temperature for safe top-off. In a dairy, the water ran out or was not always at the right temperature for pasteurization. Each plant experienced these production slow-downs until they replaced their heat exchanger with a Hydro-Thermal highly engineered 3 way steam heating valve and solved these problems. 

How do you get enough utility hot water?
If you are currently heating utility or process water with a heat exchanger, stop. Instead, install a direct steam injection heater from Hydro-Thermal to supply all the hot water you need. Not only will you have all the hot water you need, but the direct steam injection heater needs far less maintenance and upkeep than any heat exchanger on the market and will save money in energy costs and maintenance down-time. 

Using a steam mixing valve, known as direct contact steam injection, provides utility or process water on demand and at almost instantaneous set-point temperatures. It is 100% energy efficient and the most economical and hassle-free heating method for all industrial hot water needs. It's a smart energy investment.

What do you need to do to replace a heat exchanger?
We know there is some up-front planning and work that goes into any utility or process fluid heating change, so we've made it as simple and hassle-free as possible by designing standard skids with common pipe sizes. These compact skids, we call the EZ Skid, easily plumb in to existing pipe, water and steam supply lines to provide unlimited hot water at exacting temperatures. Of course, if you don't want the complete package, the stand-alone heater is available.

Unlike heat exchangers or spargers, the Hydroheater^® is designed only for your process conditions and unique application. We need to know a few things about your conditions, such as temperature range, steam pressure, and flow rates to size a heater specifically for you.
