Why not replace multiple large heat exchangers with one small Hydroheater?Direct steam injection enables optimal heat transfer without the plugging and fouling, energy or maintanence issues experienced with other heat transfer equipment. Hydroheaters have been used in facilities around the world to optimize digester efficiencies by maintaining a tight temperature band, increasing biologicial activity and solids reduction. A Hydroheater is a fraction of the size of a comparably heat comparison heat exchanger.

In 1991, nine K series Hydroheaters were installed in the City of Baltimore's Back River Plant. The Hydroheaters improved process efficiency, reduced maintenance and maintained a more uniform temperature. |
