A poultry slaughtering plant was looking to improve cleaning and sterilization by using hot water opposed to cold water. The use of cold water had proven to be problematic. Thecustomer was looking to:

  • Improve efficiencies of the cleaning process
  • Utilize better sanitary practices with hot water
  • Increase comfort level for workers on the line with warm water

Design Conditions

Water Flow Rate: 90 gpm
Water Inlet Temperature: 40°F
Water Outlet Temperature: 95°F
Water Inlet Pressure: 45 psig
Steam Pressure: 75 psig
