Recommended Maintenance Schedule
A consistent maintenance program ensures peak performance of the system for reliability and efficiency. If components are not worn, the heater should, at minimum, be thoroughly cleaned and re-calibrated every 12 to 18 months. See below for our recommended schedule and resulting images of improper Hydroheater® care.

| 1. Examine Hydroheater for any leaks of steam or fluid. |
1. Ensure all external nuts and bolts are tight. Refer to your specific Hydroheater Installation, Operations and Maintenance Manual. (For a digital copy, register for the Knowledge Center and also email to request an upgrade to access the manuals). 2. Verify the temperature control loop is working properly and maintaining temperature to within specified requirements. 3. Look for indirect signs of wear (such as failure to shutoff or effectively control temperature). 4. Examine stem for unusual scale buildup. |
Order repair and seal kits several weeks in advance of your annual maintenance shut-down to assure on-time delivery of all items. 2. Replace all seals. 3. Replace stem packing. 4. Replace worn components |
