This mill was using our competitors 3 way direct steam injection valve to heat green liquor. This steam valve controls steam with external control valve resulting in pressure variation and a reduced range of stable operation. Server hammering and vibration damaged internal components and connected equipment.

The mill reports no unscheduled maintenance shut-downs and no hammering and vibration occurs.The Hydroheater precisely maintains green liquor temperature at 190ºF [87.7°C].
